SCOUTING FOR FOOD
FEBRUARY 2nd, 2008
Scouting for Food is Saturday, February 2nd. Be at the Scout Church at 12:30 pm and plan to be finished around 2:30 pm.
Wear your scout uniform.
We will go out in the community and collect food for people in need in Mecklenburg County. This is part of the Charlotte has Heart Food Drive and will be distributed by Loaves and Fishes.
Scouts throughout Mecklenburg County will be doing this on the same day. We will need some parents to help drive the boys through the neighborhood near the Scout Church. This is a great opportunity to do a good turn and demonstrate Scouting spirit. Please come out and help. All participants will receive a patch.
